† Know Before You Book

Travellers have choices to make when they arrive in a new destination. Go it alone, book a group tour, invest in a private tour, or join a free (pay what you want) tour. In truth, free tours don't have the best reputation. They are known to skim the surface without delivering substance.

In Lviv Tours offered private tours only, but now that has changed. Why? The ever-increasing number of free tours in Lviv has not gone unnoticed so we've decided to step in and play our part by offering two Lviv Tip Tours. We understandthat private tours are not for everyone, even if ours deliver tremendous value. A contribution-based Lviv tour is new territory for us, here's what to expect.

Booking this walking tour of Lviv incurs a €1 admin fee. A local will show you round Lviv old town for approximately 3 hours on what is essentially a fully private tour. Expect to experience some of our privately guided Lviv tours, but without the inclusions. Lviv Walking Tour will, however, include the greater part of everything interesting there is to see in our city.

Upon conclusion, pay what you want. Do keep in mind the idea of fair contribution, one that reflects your guide's time, commitment, experience and endeavour.

† Lviv Walking Tour Reviews

"Pete met me at my aparthotel and introduced his guide Lesya, then Lesya took me round the city centre. This was a donation tour but she bought me a coffee and snack on Rynok Square which was incredibly kind of her. The direction of the tour was interesting, we must have visited two dozen places of interest that were a mix of main highlights and places that Lesya would call her places. In the end, I contributed more than their Lviv Highlights tour costs but it was worth it."
