TOUR OVERVIEW
Religious connotations aside, it's true to say that more than a few Lviv locales were, or still can be found beside or beneath houses of worship - that in itself inspired the name of the tour.
The simple act of being served food in such places recalls all manner of long forgotten memories such as "give us this day our daily bread", and "this is the blood of christ" etc. Ok, let's begin by replacing the blood with borscht!
There is no bread or blood (wine) on The Last Lviv Supper, and while we go where angels fear to tread in search of food for the soul, forgiveness is what God has commanded us to deliver.
Get set for a a sinful selection of strong beer and significantly stronger spirits, all washed down with several servings of savoury borscht, or should that be the other way round.
The soups come with the staples (salo and vodka) so by now you will see that The Last Lviv Supper is not just a tasty tour, it's a revelrous ride into the unknown.
Expect a gastronomically graceful gala as quirksome as can be and nyctopian night cap rolled into one.
The trick is in the tastings and pairings. The beers you will drink in Lviv old town pair perfectly with spirits served in the same sitting. A specific type of wheat beer in the second locale was made for the beautiful borscht they serve - salo and vodka the sideshow.
The third and final sitting, deep underground and not recommended if you suffer from Nyctalopia, blends blissfully bestial but inherently spiritual shots with the best borscht in Lviv!
The Last Lviv Supper venerates Lviv and is led by a local supperstar. We include seated food stops in Lviv old town.
